Direct Recruitment of Assistant Professors in Government Engineering Colleges 2013 - 14 and 2014 - 15 Verification for the Tamil Medium Reservation candidates and others. As per Notification No.03/2014 published on 16.07.2014 and the Addendum published on 20.07.2016 , the Written Competitive Examination for the post of Assistant Professors in Government Engineering Colleges was held on 22.10.2016. A total Number of 48,286 candidates applied for the written examination and 27,635 candidates appeared for the Written Examination. The Board now proposes to conduct Verification for the candidates claiming Tamil Medium Reservation in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Also, in the subject, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, for SCA (W) turn, candidates are called for Certificate Verification in the ratio 1:2 based on the written examination marks.
