The Grievance Redressal Cell addresses the grievances related to the categories as below:

1. Enquiry through Telephone
2. Enquiry
3. Postal grievances
4. E-mail grievances
 

1. Enquiry over Telephone:

General information sought for by the candidates shall be provided by the GRC / Information Centre itself, whereas the critical information sought for by the candidates shall be provided after having consulted and received suitable replies from the sections. A soft register shall be maintained for this purpose by the GRC/Information centre.

2. In person:

i. Oral information/clarification:
General information sought for by the candidates shall be provided by the GRC /Information Centre itself, whereas the critical informations ought for by the candidates shall be provided after getting replies from the concerned  sections/officers.
ii. No hard copies of representations shall be received from the candidates.
iii. The candidates shall send their representations through e-mail only. Reply shall be sent to them by return mail.
iv. Upon emergency, candidates who come to the office in person to submit representation shall contact the GRC/Information Centre, submit there presentation, which shall be scanned and forwarded to the respective wing by online mode and hard copy of the representation shall be returned to the candidate. The reply, if any, to be given to the candidate shall be sent by e-mail to the candidate within 24 hours.
v. Written Representation/Petition:
While submitting there quisition letter seeking clarification,the candidate has to mention his email id. The petition shall be forwarded to the concerned section for getting suitable reply and the same shall be sent to the candidates only by mail. A register shall be maintained for this purpose and the Deputy Collector(Administration) to review this every fortnight. A progress, soft register has to be submitted to the Board every month.
 

3. By Post:

There shall be no communication through post either to or from the candidates. All the correspondence shall be made by digital mode only.
 

4. By Mail:

Mail received from the candidates shall be sent to the concerned sections and reply shall be communicated directly to the candidates by return mail. A register shall be maintained for this purpose and the Deputy Collector(Administration) to review this every fortnight. A progress, soft register has to be submitted to the Board every month.
 

5. FAQ:

Grievance Redressal Cell Information Centre shall prepare FAQ with answers for the current events, periodically and host them in the website of the Teachers Recruitment Board in order to limit the GRC petitions.
 
6. The questions which do not cover in the FAQ alone have to be clarified through the respective section and reply to be sent without any delay.
 
7. A Mobile App to be developed and introduced.
 
8. Once Mobile App is introduced, all the receipts and disposals of the GRC petitions shall be done through Mobile App only.

FUNCTIONING OF INFORMATION CENTRE:

Since 2015, a computerised and fully equipped information cell has been functioning in the Teachers Recruitment Board, Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G.R. Centenary Building, 3rd & 4th Floors, DPI Campus, College Road, Chennai - 600006. The candidates who want to get their doubts clarified can do so in a fair and expeditious manner at this information cell.
